Have something to say?
Update verbiage to say Save instead of Close in Project Preferences
It would ease my mind and possibly others if the close button instead said “Save.“ If I spent a decent amount of time updating this section, I would like to be certain that closing the popup is in fact also saving it. And vice versa, maybe I don’t want to save the changes, and I just want to close the popup without saving, you would hit the close button, or just clicking the ‘X’
Enjoying Using Trbby
Just wanted to say all is going well and to name the Trbby processes I enjoyed today. I created a post using the AI tool to do research and a summary of what organizations are posting. The AI tool asked me how it could help turn that into a post, and gave me just what I asked for. Then I was able to take the AI contribution and incorporate it into my own writing in the rest of the message. And I added a photo. Altogether a great blend of resources that has been easy to use. Thank you!
I create posts in Trbby by moving from the AI Assist feature to the Manual feature
I’d like very much to toggle between the AI assist box and the Manual box without losing content from either when making the switch. I have been practicing using the AI tool for some content, then want to edit/add to it with my own words. I have copied/pasted part of the AI response into the manual composition box, but notice that it’s awkward. Is there an easier way?
Ability to delete images from gallery
I would like to be able to delete some images from my gallery so I can remove duplicates or any noise.
Rights requests for connecting LinkedIn
The rights requested for connecting linkedin are way overboard for what I’d typically allow for connecting to an external site; especially one linked to my professional online persona. There should be a way to limit these rights and a better explanation on why they’re needed.
Relevance of article results
The articles found do not match the project I’ve set-up. There’s no way to see how the articles were pulled and to adjust the criteria to find more relevant articles.
Post Scheduling Dropdown for Times feel Clunky
The time picker feels a little clunky for when scheduling posts. Not sure how this would be improved, but I think it could use upgrade that mechanically feels nicer and is easier to select a time.
Make Drafts Easier to Find
It might be helpful to have drafts on your project page or just somewhere more easily spottable. It feels a bit hidden being a small icon on the top navigation menu. I think it would be helpful to have it alongside where your other post stuff is
Need a way to give positive feedback
Your feedback options don’t include a place to give positive comments. I want to say that I am finding the platform pretty easy to use so far, and that’s special since I’m very bad at learning new tech tools.
Open Article from Overview Page
It would be nice to be able to open the article from the overview page, instead of having to navigate into Discovery or the View Articles page.
Preview Video or Image from Gallery
When viewing your gallery, you can only see part of the image or video if it’s a larger file. It would be nice if I can preview the image before deciding if I want to use that file for my post.
Post Series - Unable to upload video
When I select a series of posts to be created, I can only select images to upload from my computer, not mp4’s. However, I am able to upload the mp4’s from the gallery from previous posts. But this file also applies to every post in the series rather just being able to select one. So the suggestion is to be able to select which post you want to add the image or video file to, but also allow you to upload an mp4 for the series from your computer and not just your gallery.
General feedback
I like the UI design overall - color schemes work great and it was easy to navigate especially as non-vertical platform. I had used Korean platforms (non-vertical,wide format) vs Western ones (vertical, doom-scrolling format) so I know how the non-vertical design promotes creativity rather than dopamine driven addiction. :) But I wish there was a convincing intro what Trbby really is, what’s its primary purpose. I didn’t know it could make posts on my linked social accounts at the same time. I thought this was a standalone platform just like instagram/ facebook, so I came in being confused what it was about and what to do, even though ‘how to use it’ was nicely written. I know it’s just an alpha stage, and having AI assistant right next to the post is neat without having to go back and forth my AI website tab. But here’s a couple of my current thoughts (just my opinions!): - the AI assistant is not as expansive as others (ChatGPT, Grok) - I asked its prompt and it didn’t fully grasp my command. One time the answer came with half-written sentence, like as if it was paused in the middle. I had this short blew up on instagram, so I gave this AI a test saying how to make this short vital as if I was making a new post, but it gave me generic answer, since I noticed the video mattered more than the writing, but AI kept insisting the writing was important. Maybe AI can assess visual contents as well. - I wish this is integrated with uploading multiple images and videos, since I’m more of a video artist… speaking of which, I wish to see TikTok account linked as well. - the posts were quite delayed on my linked social accounts which made it less valuable to use. IF the speed is improved, then I’d definitely feel more compelled to use it. - It’s missing the most important hook that should stand out - what makes Trbby different & unique from other platforms? All I see is posting stuff at multiple social media with AI assistance which is tbh not new (I saw this in one of the Office episode many years ago). Then the niche is fairly small, since there are not many people who’s focused on selling their brand through social media compared to general people making single posts for fun, imo. Maybe there could be an idea for general people as well..? but the more general it gets, it could dumb down the design… yet I think your current niche is tiny. So far it’s writing-oriented creation. If more visual contents are assessed, the niche will expand to visual workers/artists. - At least AI personal assistance stood out for me because I think it’s inevitable in the near future where everyone in every field will have to have their AI assistance for whatever they are doing. If the AI on Trbby gets very helpful, your platform is gonna be powerful!
Information current or outdated?
My first post pulled info around LNG global market dynamics and it seems to be outdated info. Global dynamics shift quickly, wondering if there is a way to make sure info gathered is current.
Option to Delete a Cancelled Post
It would be nice to be able to delete a post entirely if I cancelled it, so that it doesn’t show up in my “All Posts“ tab anymore, especially if the post was just a test.
Ability to click on channel, instead of 3 dots
Might feel better to be able to click on the entire Channel UI box to edit the channel, instead of clicking on the 3 dots to edit. Or both, since the delete channel option is there.
Post Generation UI Felt Very Busy
The UI on the Content Creation Page felt very busy. Felt like there was a lot of buttons to press I was also confused on what “Run“ and “Run All“ did. It might be easier to understand if you used the words “Add to Current Post“ or “Apply to All Posts.” Or just something that explains what Run/Run All does.
Different Verbiage "Scheduled For: Immediate Published"
I created a post, and when I saw the post on the Submitted posts page, I saw “Scheduled For: Immediate Publish” and it slightly concerned me because I wasn’t ready to post it and this verbiage made me think that the post was going to be shared to my LinkedIn immediately. I now see that it is pending approval, but I think the verbiage could be different, maybe: “Immediate Publish Pending Approval“ ?
Lock icon could be misleading/confusing on the preview post
When I was creating a post, I wasn’t sure what the lock icon did, so I thought that was the Save feature for that specific post, so I hit the lock icon to lock the post, and I refreshed the page and my post was erased. It wasn’t until later that I saw the Submit button on the far bottom right. I think it might be helpful to both have the Submit button in a more obvious area (especially since the Submit button is right below the arrow icon for the post generation, so it’s a little busy) AND it would be helpful to specify what that lock icon actually does. Maybe a tooltip when hovering over the lock or a fading UI text when locking and unlocking?
AI Image could not be generated when preview locked
I noticed that the Generate AI Image feature couldn’t be used when the post preview is locked. It was a little confusing because the AI response states that I need at least one channel selected; however, I did have one channel selected, but it doesn’t specify that the icon needs to be unlocked for that post. So I think some clarity would be helpful to understand why the AI Image couldn’t be generated outside of the channel being selected.
